About Mindful Pathways Co.

Mindful Pathways Co. was created from my belief that reflection, self-understanding, and emotional growth should be accessible, practical, and supportive at every stage of life. My work is grounded in more than two decades of experience supporting children, teens, and families across education, community mental health, and social service settings.

Throughout my career, I have worked closely with youth and families navigating behavioral challenges, emotional stress, developmental differences, and complex life transitions. These experiences shaped my understanding that meaningful growth happens when people feel safe through consistent connection — when someone listens without judgment, offers steady support, and creates space for reflection without pressure.

Professional Background and Experience

My professional background includes extensive experience in case management, behavioral support, crisis response, and family-centered services. I have worked in community mental health agencies, school districts, child welfare programs, and early childhood education settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support children and families with diverse and complex needs.

I currently support families raising children with special needs through the Department of Air Force EFMP Respite Program through case management work, coordinating individualized services, providing caregiver guidance, and delivering provider training. In school settings, I have supported students through behavioral interventions, de-escalation strategies, and individualized academic and social supports. Earlier in my career, I owned and operated a licensed preschool, where I designed developmentally appropriate learning environments and partnered closely with families to support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Across roles in behavioral rehabilitation services, family support, and education, I have remained committed to trauma-informed care, ethical documentation, and collaboration that prioritizes dignity, safety, and long-term well-being.

Service, Advocacy, and Volunteer Work

My approach to this work has been deeply shaped by years of volunteer service and clinical internships in crisis response, child advocacy, and behavioral health settings. I have supported individuals through crisis helplines, emergency psychiatric environments, child advocacy roles, and state social service agencies. These experiences reinforced the importance of compassion, advocacy, and meeting people where they are, especially during moments of vulnerability.

Education and Clinical Training

My work is guided by a strong academic foundation in psychology, education, and counseling. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with advanced coursework in counseling theory, assessment, ethics, and evidence-based interventions. This clinical training allows me to integrate research-informed practices into resources that remain approachable and developmentally appropriate.

I maintain a strong commitment to academic excellence and professional growth and have been recognized for my academic achievement through consistent placement on the President’s List.
