Counseling Services Offered as a Graduate Intern

I am currently offering counseling services as a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate intern under supervision.

All counseling services are provided through North Spokane Counseling and are conducted under the clinical supervision of my site supervisor. As an intern, I work closely with my supervisor to ensure ethical, professional, and supportive care.

If you are interested in counseling services or would like to inquire about availability, all scheduling and intake requests must be directed to my site supervisor and internship site.

My ideal clients are children and adolescents, along with individuals and families, who are feeling overwhelmed by life and unsure how to move forward. Often, they are navigating big transitions, changes in family structure, school stress, grief, shifting identities, or moments where life suddenly feels heavier than expected.

Many come in because of behavior challenges, anxiety, stress, or low mood, but underneath that is usually something deeper: a nervous system stuck in survival mode, emotions that were never given space, or relationships that don’t feel safe or steady. Some are grieving losses others can’t see. Some feel disconnected from themselves or unsure of who they are becoming. Others are simply exhausted from trying to hold everything together.

The people I work best with don’t want quick fixes or labels. They want to understand themselves, learn healthier ways to cope, and feel more grounded in their bodies and relationships. They may struggle with anxiety, sadness, or stress, but they are also curious and open to growth, even if they don’t quite know where to start.

In our work together, I take a holistic approach. That means we look at the whole person, not just thoughts, but emotions, relationships, family dynamics, and the body’s responses to stress. I often incorporate somatic techniques, attachment-focused work, and inner-child exploration to help clients feel safer, more regulated, and more connected to themselves and others.

For children and teens, this work often includes helping them build emotional awareness, coping strategies, and a stronger sense of identity while supporting families in understanding what behaviors are communicating. For adults and families, the focus may be on breaking old patterns, improving connection, and increasing overall life satisfaction.

My ideal client is someone who is ready to slow down, look inward, and gently untangle what’s been weighing them down. Together, we work toward feeling more steady, more self-aware, and more capable of meeting life with clarity and confidence, even when things are hard.

Counseling services are not offered directly through Mindful Pathways Co., LLC. This website is intended to share wellness resources, educational content, and information about my professional work.
